THE LAND
Our vineyards are between 900 and 1,000 m. above sea level
Titoralba is located in the north-eastern part of the Almansa Designation of Origin, one of the nine wine-growing regions of Castile-La Mancha. Our winery has its headquarters in a small, picturesque town called Higueruela, standing proudly between 900 and 1,000 m. above sea level, just 100 kilometres from the Mediterranean coastline.
In this exclusive location, the soils are chalky with little organic material, a sandy texture and shallow depth. The region’s harsh, dry continental climate causes extreme temperatures during both summer and winter, favouring small productions and a slower grape-ripening period.
EXTREME GROWING CONDITIONS
The extreme conditions favour low production and the grape-ripening process, with a large concentration of colour, tannins and aromas.

RECOGNISED WINES
Designation of Origin Almansa
We make wines under the D.O. Almansa, one of the oldest designations of origin in Spain (established in 1966).
We make wines under the D.O. Almansa, one of the oldest designations of origin in Spain (established in 1966). The dynamism of the wineries we make up and the good reception of the wines on the international markets have positioned our designation of origin as one of the most promising areas on the Spanish wine-growing map, with significant potential and projection in the coming years.
This projection is reflected in the recognition of Tintoralba wines, which have been winning awards since we were founded.
