Tasting Notes

Impenetrable dark violet color veiled under a gentle blue sheen. This wine is elegant and straightforward, showing intense red berry aromas (cherry and pomegranate) over a background of rosemary, thyme and lavender. Its silky and round on the palate with firm tannins that enhance the delicate fruit flavors.

Trivia

Higueruela Park
Did you know that the Higueruela was internationally renowned for years as having one of the largest wind parks in the world? Built in 1999, the Higueruela Park contains 244 Wind turbines which have the capacity to produce 161,04 MW.

How much energy can a single turbine or wind farm produce?
A single 1.8 Mega watt turbines in one year can produce 2 billion kwh’s of electricity, which is enough energy to fuel 10,000 homes. Now, if we consider that our park has 244 wind turbines, and the population of Higueruela is only 1,300, we can roughly estimate that if every citizen of Higueruela owned a home, they could run it on clean energy for 1,876 years. That, my friend, is a lot of fresh, beautiful air for our vines to thrive and grow!
